IR 29
The IR29 transmits measured values and status displays in analog form (4-20 mA). The gas is monitored on-site by diffusion or via unpressurized gas supply with a flow adapter. In combination with the proven GfG controller, installation in new gas detection systems as well as retrofitting in existing systems is possible.
IR29 uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor technology to detect flammable gases and vapors. For selective measurement results without error alarms, we use patented 4-beam and 4-wavelength technology with gold-plated mirror optics, which requires no beam splitter at all.
The infrared sensor used also enables measurements above the lower explosive limit (LEL), does not require oxygen and is insensitive to sensor toxicity.
The durable sensor makes the IR29 a permanently reliable solution for detecting a wide variety of flammable gases and vapors within the LEL measurement range of 0 to 100%. Automatic temperature compensation and measurement signal linearization ensure high measurement accuracy.
