Hand-Arm Vibration Dosimeter SV 103
The SV 103 is dedicated to hand-arm vibration (HAV) measurements meeting ISO 8041 specifications being the best choice for carrying out measurements with accuracy in accordance with ISO 5349 and European Directive 2002/44/EC. The SV 103 significantly reduces measurement uncertainty when the instrument is attached to the user’s arm and is small enough to perform daily measurements of vibration exposure without interfering with normal work activities.
The SV 103 uses our newest accelerometer, the SV 107, which has a contact force sensor in addition to the standard accelerometer. Contact force is the sum of grip force and push force and is, therefore, a measure of the firmness with which the user moves a vibrating tool.
This is a recommendation for the new standard and the contact force sensor reading is also displayed on the screen. In addition, the SV 107 accelerometer is based on MEMS technology, the latest transducer technology, offering many advantages including impact resistance, very low energy consumption and the best frequency response.
These instruments calculate the different characteristics required for this type of measurement, including frequency analysis, dose calculation, projected dose, weighting filters, and others.
The SV 103 is the ideal choice for hand-arm vibration evaluation and ensuring worker protection at high vibration levels.
