SV 279 PRO
The SV 279 PRO is an outdoor monitoring system based on the SVAN 979 Class 1 sound level meter. The IP 65 rated casing contains a lead-acid battery whose operating time can be easily extended by connecting an external battery or solar panel. Smart charging units allow the use of solar panels without expensive controllers and heavy batteries. The case is equipped with extremely robust waterproof connectors (military standard) and is equipped with an IP 65 external power supply.
The lightweight outdoor microphone kit can be easily mounted on a pole with standard mounting threads. All accessories fit comfortably into a second carrying case. This system provides wideband results such as Leq, Max, Min, and Peak with all the standard weighting filters along with an excellent time history logging feature with two customizable logging steps.
Wideband results can be recorded in three acoustic profiles allowing measurements to be made with 3 different filters (e.g. A, C, Z) as well as 3 different detector time constants (e.g. Fast, Slow, Impulse). The SVAN 979 can be easily removed from its casing and used as a handheld sound level meter.
The SV 279 PRO monitoring station uses a 4G modem for remote communication with the Internet. SvanNET, a relay server, supports connections between PCs and stations.
SvanNET allows use of the system with any type of SIM card, regardless of whether the card has a public or private IP. Additionally, it provides access to monitoring station status via mobile phone or tablet.
