SV 36 is a type approved sound calibrator that meets class 1 requirements according to IEC 60942:2017. The calibrator is designed for calibration of sound level meters at 94 dB and 114 dB at a frequency of 1 kHz.
The accuracy of the calibration signal is controlled by an internal microprocessor and reference sensors: a piezoresistive sensor that monitors the accuracy of the generated pressure level, an atmospheric pressure sensor and a temperature sensor.
The feedback setting control loop makes all calibration signal adjustments fully automatic, so users do not need any manual adjustments to ambient temperature and static pressure levels.
The SV 36 Class 1 acoustic calibrator is equipped with an infrared sensor that detects the presence of a microphone and turns the calibrator on/off automatically. This calibrator is powered by two LR03/AAA batteries. Each acoustic calibrator comes with a calibration statement that allows users to be confident that their instrument will measure correctly.
