The SV 958A Class 1 four-channel vibration and sound analyzer is designed for all applications requiring simultaneous Class 1 vibration and sound evaluation. Each of the four input channels can be independently configured to detect vibration noise with different filters and RMS detector time constants, providing users with exceptional measurement flexibility.

The real advantage of the SV 958A is its ability to perform advanced analysis simultaneously in meter level mode. In practice, this allows users to obtain wideband results such as Leq, RMS, LMax, LMin, LPeak along with four-channel analysis such as FFT or octave band analysis.

The list of available analyzer functions includes FFT, band (1/1) or third (1/3) octave, cross spectrum, sound intensity, RT 60, deep time domain signal recording. wav format, among others. All measurement results are stored in 32 MB internal volatile memory or in USB memory and can be easily downloaded to a PC with SvanPC++ software.

The instrument is powered by four AA batteries or standard rechargeable batteries, as well as an external power supply or USB interface. The sturdy casing and lightweight design result in the outstanding characteristics of this new generation of instruments. This noise and vibration analyzer is manufactured in accordance with ISO 8041 and IEC 61672 standards, making it an ideal solution for applications measuring vibration and its impact on infrastructure according to international standards such as DIN 4150, BS 6472 or BS 7385.
