Class 2 Sound Level Meter-SV 973A
The SVAN 973 is a Class 2 sound level meter with a wide frequency range up to 10 kHz. The unique feature of the SV 973 is that it is a MEMS technology microphone with a lifetime guarantee. The meter’s measurement range from 25 to 128 dB allows its use in industrial and environmental noise measurements.
For workplace noise measurements, the intelligent sound exposure meter function limits the frequency range to 10 kHz and shifts the dynamic measurement range of the sound level meter to 141 dB Peak.
This instrument is easy to calibrate in the field using an acoustic calibrator because calibration begins automatically when a microphone is inserted into the calibrator. The SV 973 can measure wideband results with all necessary weighting filters as well as 1/1 octave or 1/3 octave band filters.
The audio event recording function works together with the sound level meter mode. Data is stored on 8 GB of internal memory and can be easily downloaded to a PC using Supervisor or SVANPC++ software.
