DustTrak 8535
The DustTrak Environmental Enclosure 8535 is a weather-resistant enclosure that protects the DustTrak II and DRX Aerosol Monitor Models 8530, 8530EP, 8533, and 8533EP, enabling accurate and precise measurements in harsh environments.
It is suitable for a variety of applications, such as outdoor environmental monitoring, community air monitoring plans (CAMP), fugitive emissions monitoring, site perimeter monitoring, dust control operations and urban pollution studies.
The enclosure includes a 360° omni-directional sampling inlet designed to sample efficiently in a wide range of wind conditions, a water trap bottle that prevents precipitation from entering the instrument, and a secure method for attaching the DustTrak aerosol monitor and accessories.
Optional accessories such as internal battery system, heat shield, solar power system, Cloud Data Management System and heated inlet sample conditioner are available. This enclosure can be mounted to a standard survey tripod equipped with 5/8″-11 threaded studs, making it portable in the field. The DustTrak 8535 Environmental Enclosure is also on the South Shore AQMD’s list of pre-approved instruments for Rule 1466.
